Quill UPGRADE, double-bearing
If you have a Mark V single-bearing quill headstock, you can UPGRADE it with a new double-bearing quill system. ShopsmithGuy.com does this at no extra charge with a tune-up. A tune-up must be ordered with this upgrade.
You can upgrade either a Gilmer Belt or Poly-V Belt system.
Parts include:- Double-bearing quill
- Idler shaft assembly
- New Poly-V belt
NOTE: Existing Poly-V Belt systems do not need an idler shaft assembly. As always, if there are any additional repairs necessary we will contact you before proceeding with any repairs.
